It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. Artur "Arthur" do Rego Alberto, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 93. He was the son of late Jose do Rego Alberto and the late Isidora do Carmo Corvalho. Loving husband of late Leonor Couto Alberto.
He leaves behind his sons, Nelson (Jill) and Walter (Lisa), his grandchildren, Jason (Miru) and Ashley (James), and his niece, Grace (Dave), and her daughter, Sarah. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jose, John and Manuel.
The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00PM.
A burial service will be held at the Notre-Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Road, at 1:00 pm. A celebration of life will follow at the private home of one of the sons (address available at service).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charitable organization is appreciated.
