Peacefully in hospital in his sleep on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Yvette Patry for 24 years. Loving father of Dan (Carole) and the late Nathalie Picard and adored step-father of Nathalie (Eric), Gilles, Annie (Raymond) and Monique. Devoted grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Much loved son of Claire Bordeleau and the late Léopold Champagne. Survived by his brother Raymond and predeceased by brother Roger. He will be fondly remembered by his niece Jody-Dawn and his cousins. The family will receive friends at Racine Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road (between Cyr and Savard Streets) on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 9 am – 10 am. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 am at Notre Dame Cathedral, 385 Sussex Drive. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation- Cancer Unit would be appreciated.
