Rick E. Resler, 64 of Ossian, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. He was born August 1, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Everett and Betty Jean Resler. Rick enjoyed gardening, mowing, and watching sports. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. Rick is survived by his wife, Deb Resler; daughter, Angela (Phillip Sanders) Resler; grandchildren, Ja’Myla, Tucker, and Nikko Sanders; sisters, Cynda (John) Bunting and Debra (Jack) Springer; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in passing by his son, Chad Resler. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
