Karen, Bill and family  - our sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Bill is greatly missed by many of the Oshawa Seniors bridge players.
He was a constant presence, either playing or as the convener.
He played at 3 Senior Centres several times a week.  His
appreciation of cards was infectious and he was always happy to answer my questions and help anyone who asked about the game of bridge!  Thanks Bill!!

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad.    As kids we all benefited from our parents' close friendship.   Bill will be greatly missed.

I am so very very saddened by the news of Bill' s Passing. I have been fortunate enough to have known many of my Dad's friends. He was a favourite! (And Favourite Hunting Partner!)

Brother Bill was my idol growing up he excelled in every thing he did. He was a great curler, ball player, a real good gymnast in high school he also played football. He worked well with dogs and was an avid hunter. Also a great bridge player. I will truly miss him. My last memory of  Bill was the night  before his stroke. Brother Bob , Bill and I shot quite a few games of pool at the nursing home. I will miss him.

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with him and we shared a locker and curled together at the Oshawa Curling Club. My condolences to Bill's family.

So sorry to learn of Bill's passing.  I worked  with him since the early sixties when they amalgamated the three Tabulating centres to form the Information Systems Data Centre.   He always had a story to fit every occasion and you  always felt better because of it.

Other then interaction through work I learnt a lesson from Bill about horses. At the time I was heavily involved with the Marksmen Club of Oshawa and we were raising money by selling posts. Bill wanted a very large one, though I don't recall the measurement When I asked why did he want such a large post I was informed that horses scratch themselves on the post as well as chewing them so they had to be substantial. I think he was building horse shed at the time. This was probably in the 70's.

So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Our deepest condolences to all the family. I always enjoyed working with Bill and his quick wit. We boarded our dogs with your dad & mom for many years when we were away on vacation. I know that you all have many wonderful memories of your dad/grandfather that will help carry you through this time of grieving. Our prayers are with you.
