Passed away on Friday, May 26th, 2017 at Fairview Lodge in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Rita for 71 years. Devoted father of Bruce, Doug and Lorraine (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Shane, Craig, Marnie, Andrea, Kristin, Scott, and Kent and great-grandfather of twelve. Bruce served with the RCAF for two years as a Flight Sgt. on a Lancaster bomber. He flew missions from England over occupied France and Germany. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, May 31st from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Oakville Milton Humane Society would be appreciated.
