Pearl Mary Hayes

Born on December 10th, 1919. Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 14th, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Basil Hayes (1997). Cherished and much loved mother of the late Douglas Hayes, the late Raymond Hayes (Brenda), Gregory Hayes (Diane), Brian Hayes (Janet), Marlene Cooper, Danny Hayes (Debra), Wayne Hayes (Marlene) and Heather Dorie (Jim). Dear Grandma/Nana to 25 amazing grandchildren. Blessed with 36 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Florida Cartier, brother Ron, her sister Veronica, sister Hilda, sister Bea, brother Lloyd, sister Theresa and brother Leo. The family would like to graciously thanks all the staff at Bay Ridges LTC who cared for our mother with so much compassion and devotion. Our Mom will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

A celebration of Pearl’s life will be held at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST PARISH, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby on Monday, January 24th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
