My heart is heavy with grieve for you and your family, for all his friends who are hurting so deeply.  It is a testament to his family to have raised such a beautiful young man.  I see so many who have been saddened by this loss including myself.  Matt will always live in the hearts of every single person he touched. Although I didn't know your son, Matt I do understand and share the loss and pain that you are going through.  Losing a child is devastating; believe me, I know.

I had the privilege of working with Matt for a short time, and he always made my day at work more enjoyable. We got into the habit of ordering an extra large pepperoni pizza every Friday we worked, something we looked forward to, but soon regretted after over-stuffing ourselves! Although our opinions were often different Matt had a way of opening my mind to different things and I learned a lot about his values and character. Matt was a caring, outgoing, funny and kind person who often put others before himself. I send my condolences to his family and friends.

Brian, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Matt. May God bless you and Judy and your entire family during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I will miss him greatly, he truly had one of the best outlooks on life of anyone I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Matt called me Nanna, and I felt like his nanna.  One precious young man has been taken away from us.  Aubrey and I will cherish your memory forever.  You were one special young man. Your smile lit up a room and your wit and humour made people laugh.

Matt was one amazing young man and will always be remembered. He was very caring, kind, warm, and funny. From the first day I met Matt he was the nicest funniest kid, he kept me laughing for hours and could tell me story after story. I only knew Matt for a few years but from day one I considered him family. He has meant a lot to me and always will. I thank him for everything, if it wasn't for Matt I wouldn't be marrying one of his longest friends, Cole. I love you Matt "Lutz guy"

Dear Judy, Brian, and family,

Brief were the moments we interacted with Matthew, what a precious young man, beautiful in every sense, gentle, kind, transparent; we had so much fun making wantans on Thanksgiving, at Robert's home.

We are praying for you and will carry you in our prayers in these painful moments.

Matthew was one of the kindest individuals I have ever meet. He was known for putting a smile on the faces of everyone around him. He was full of love which he shared with everyone around him. I know that he loved his family especially his mother Judy. He was very proud of her and loved to see her happy. He will be greatly missed! My condolences to his family.
