Margaret Yvonne Robinson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum Margaret Yvonne Robinson on May 28, 2023 at the age of 82. Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Oak Ridges Hospice following a 2 year fight with cancer. Margaret was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland as the only child of William and Elizabeth Hargan (predeceased). She immigrated to Canada as a young wife and mother in 1967 to build a new life with her family.

Margaret was a loving Mum of four children, Julie, Linda (Bryan), Tanya, Troy (Eliska). She was an adored Nanny by seven grandchildren Allsun, Brett, Rachel, Jake, Sydney, Zaden and Charlotta and 2 great grandchildren Lily and Kiera.

Margaret had several careers in her life but her role as Customer Service Manager(CSM) at Walmart which she held for 15 years before she retired was her most rewarding. Margaret had a lifelong love of soccer and it was always an exciting time for her when the World Cup was on. She liked to knit especially at the beginning of her illness as she said it kept her hands and mind busy.

Special thank you to Oak Ridges Hospice who made our mothers short stay special and allowed her to pass with the utmost of grace.
