Linda Rose Swonarow

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Katy and Misha Swonarow, her sister Ruby McClelland, and mother and father in law Innis and Harold Johnston. Survived by her husband Steven Botham. Cherished mother of Christopher (Colleen) and Melissa (Joe). Loving grandmother to Michael, Madelyn and Mason. Linda will be remembered by her extended family and her nieces and nephews. Linda’s happy place was up north in Fenelon Falls at her trailer where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and looking after her Chippies. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday April 28th from 6 – 8 p.m. Memorial service for Linda and her son Chris will be held in the chapel on Saturday April 29th at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Linda’s memory can be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region or the Canadian Cancer Society.
