  Some of my fondest memories with Uncle Jackie were getting together on  Christmas Eve in Brooklyn. He would entertain us with plenty of stories and jokes. I was also happy and surprised when he decided to fly out to Maui after everything that he went through.  I was able to get him on a helicopter tour which I think he really enjoyed  after  he got over his initial fear. Uncle Jackie was a great man who I love and admire and he will always be in my heart.

I don't have the words to express my grief and what you ment to me. I do have many memories that will always make me smile. Thank you for always being so supportive and incouraging. So sorry to hear about jack's death. Every time a group of guys would get together  for golf, Jacks name came up whether it be was he back in Tidewater or the many excellent tees he gave his golfing buddies.
Any body who came in contact with Jack appreciates knowing him.
He will be missed!

Uncle Jackie was already the coolest uncle a kid can ask for but on December 28, 1978 (I was 12) Uncle Jackie walked away from a plane crash unharmed and to me he was now a Superhero. After the plane crash, I of course, bragged to all my friend’s; my uncle is a Superhero, not sure they bought it, but I sure did.
My Dad, Bestefar and Uncle Jackie made me who I am. As each one is different, combined, they are the best mentors I could ask for. Uncle Jackie always had time to talk, give advice, tell questionable funny jokes and more importantly just listened to me. Occasionally our calls had to be cut short, but no matter how short the call were, we always said at the end of the call "love you".
I will do the best I can to carrying on what Uncle Jackie instilled in me so I can continue to make him proud! LOVE YOU!

Anna Mae and family, my deepest condolences for the loss of Jack.  He will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing Jack.   We always enjoyed  talking to Jack when he would bring Mr Chips into the clinic and he would share a story or joke  with us.  After Mr Chips passing Jack would still come to visit on the 12th of every month just to check in and bring bagels for us. I think for Jack it was keeping Mr Chips memory alive as he certainly loved his boy! Jack your memory will certainly stay with us ....RIP Jack you were one of a kind..

Jack was like a little brother to me. Some of my fondest memories are from the years he and Anna Mae visited us in Hawaii. We had so much fun. I knew that I could always count on him to take care of me and Olav. I’ll miss him and I’ll miss the phone ringing at 12 noon on the dot every Saturday. Meet you in Heaven, not too soon though. It”s Saturday 12 noon. No phone call. I will miss that call. Jack would call like clockwork to make sure that I was okay and behaving myself. I always used to say Jack thank you for being you, and he always used to say, “Well, I promised Daddy that I would take care of you.” And that he has done over the years cause once Jack gives you his word he will never go back on it come hell or high water. Even though he was the younger brother he took care of the older brother. I will miss him dearly but his spirit will remain with me forever. Goodbye Jack. Thanks for the memories. Love, Olav


Gone but never forgotten. Jack was such a delightful and wonderful person who would always bring a smile to every encounter. I feel blessed to have known him and honored by our friendship. Requiescat in pace.

Jack was truly a wonderful person whom Carole and I had the privilege of knowing.  You are, and always will be, a great couple.  We had great golf times together with our Tidewater  Couples Golf Group.   Jack was quick to hand out the “latest and greatest” golf tees to all members of the group.  He always had a joke and a devious smile to go with it.  We will miss him.  Please take care of yourself.  Our prayers go out to you and your extended family.

My husband and I will always remember being at Tidewater and Jack showing us his golf closet. We have never seen as much golf equipment except in a golf store!
He was an avid golfer and had many tales to tell.
We will miss you Jack. You are now reunited with Mr. Chips.
