Peacefully at home, on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012, after a brief and courageous battle against cancer. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Summerskill). Loving father of Brian and his wife Frances, Linda Burke and the late Diane Viner. Cherished Grampa of Jennifer, Cameron, Luke and Cory and his great grandson Ramon. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. Harvey was retired from Linkbelt, F.M.C. and S.K.F. He enjoyed many activities with the “Florida Gang” in Nokomis, Florida. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Saturday, September 15th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care would be appreciated.
