Forever remembered by his loving wife, Julie, children Tristan (David) and Keely (Tod), and many extended family members in England including his sister-in-law Cherry, Bradley and Laura. Gordon was predeceased by his brother Richard.
Gordon took great pride in his lengthy career designing communication solutions for commercial and defense markets that often involved overseas travel. His exposure to so many countries and cultures contributed to an endless and extensive knowledge of history, geography, and world religions. Those who knew Gordon in a professional capacity will remember an industry expert who was steadfast in his commitment to excellence in all he did.
Outside of work, Gordon served for over two decades on the board of directors of the Durham Rowing Club overseeing the facility and fleet maintenance, and was both an active and senior member of many masonic lodges across Canada and in England. His peers will remember a generous man who gave unconditionally of his time and talents.
Due to the global pandemic, friends and family are invited to watch the live stream of Gordon’s service on Saturday June 20 at 10:30AM. The service will be streamed on the Oshawa Funeral Home Facebook page, and will remain accessible there for a period of time afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Medical Imaging Department at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (tgwhf.ca/tribute).
