We called him 50  50  , half this half that , his camping shaker was 50 percent salt 50 pepper, 1 black sock 1 white sock and 1 with a hole in it . When he got a soaker, he wore 1 boot , 1 shoe beside the fire pit . Loved winter , loved summer . That was 50 50 all ways outside , rain , sun , enjoying life, nature , fresh air , friends and family and his beautiful wife glorian. We will miss you davie boy

A beautiful garden will now stand alone
missing the one who nurtured it, but now he is gone.
In the summer his flowers will still bloom and the sun will still shine, but the rain will be like raindrops for the ones he left behind.
Just like your flowers Dave, you were part of God's plan, so when he reached down to bring you home, you gave him your hand.
It's so hard for us to lose you and to see my sister's pain, but I know you had to go because God has a place in his garden that needed such a beautiful soul.
I've told Gloriann that every time she thinks of you, to remember and just wait because when God has a spot in his garden, you will meet her at the gate.

Dearest Gloriann,

It's hard to imagine how much you must be hurting. You and Dave were always such a pair--I can't picture you without him (nor could I have ever pictured him without you). I send you my love, sympathy and prayers.

I keep thinking of last autumn when we were all together--the laughter, the fun, the warmth when we would come over and have a fire in the backyard.  David was in top form, and it seemed as if that world, and the party, would go on forever. 

You two have always been such a model to me of what a loyal, long-term relationship could be. I loved the look on your face when you looked at Dave--and he had the same look for you. There was warmth between you that many people would never know. He had a way of looking on the bright side that was contagious--you couldn't be around him without feeling good. Not to mention the endless taste testing of his newest recipe he found online. He had such an easy, gracious way about him and he made everybody feel they were special to him--I know he always made me feel that way.

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away". 

This is, and will be, hard to think about. I hope all the years of love and happy memories will be a comfort to you. All our thoughts and love are with you now and always.
