Dear Daniel aka Big Brother, 
You left without saying goodbye and for that I am sad.  I would give anything just to hear your voice one last time, see your smile or smirk, have a drink or two, get annoyed with you, hear one of your smart ass comments or see the two middle finger Legault family salute.  It may not be classy, but we sure had fun with it.  I am not sure how I am supposed to feel, but right now I am just numb.  You were truly a great big brother, brother in law, uncle, son, dad, step-dad and all around great man, you truly would do anything for anyone even if they didn’t asked.  You were always the type of person to ask “what can I do to help”.  You were such a great big brother, although we had our moments, as all siblings do, we did become very close as adults.  
I will never forget how you stepped up, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer you really made sure I had everything.  You felt bad and wished you could have taken that burden from me.  Just you being there every day made it better knowing you were by my side.  You were such a big breast cancer advocate you dyed your hair pink on many occasions and the biggest tribute was when you tattooed the breast cancer ribbon with my initials on your wrist and for that I am eternally grateful.  I remember the day you came home and said Shawn look at my new tattoo.  You made me so proud.  You were such a protective big brother and for that I love you.  
You were also the master of ceremonies at my wedding reception and nothing made me prouder to have you be part of my special day.  You were a fantastic Uncle to my sons Stephan and Sheldon and a great brother-in-law to Gary.  I could go on for days… I truly hope you knew how much you meant to me, really meant to all of us. 
I am not here today to say goodbye to you because you will never be forgotten.  I will say, until we meet again for drinks. Rip it up in heaven. 
I love you, miss you and may you now rest in peace.

I wanted to say thank you for loving as the way you did . Kamron and I will cherish all the good memories we shared together with you .Memories and love to last a life time . I was very devastated that you are no longer with me . Our heart are filled with sadness . You were there for to comfort Kamron and I through our ups and downs and good memories and bad memories . Know that there will be no phone calls , more texting and no more seeing your beautiful smiles on FaceTime for heart is broke  . You missed my birthday this year but I know in my heart that you were watching me and if you cans you would call me and say how much you love me .

I miss Dan as the news hit me hard I didn’t want to believe he was gone but “If God Leads Us To It, He Will Lead Us Through It”Dan Lived with us for a bit and I will cherish the memories made GoodBye Daniel Legault You Will Be In Our Hearts!

My condolences to the entire Legault family.  I've known Dan for as long as I've known his sister Chantal.  I've always enjoyed Dan's humour, wit and his ability to just make everyone feel at ease.  Dan I'll certainly miss our banter back and forth and your gentle smile.  Family occasions won't be the same, but we will always remember the good times.

Our deepest condolences to Daniel's family.  We have so many great memories of Dan that I could share.  Everything from being a great friend that helped out his friends and family, to working on his vehicle, enjoying life in doing what he was doing.  Dan lived with us for 2 years to get back up on his feet.  He was and will always be a member of our family.  Dan also loved cooking in the kitchen making supper for when Lisa and I arrived home from work.  He had wonderful friends to help support and be with him just sitting around talking, having many laughs.  He talked a lot about his family and how much he loved them. 
 He also talked about Kamron and Victoria often and how much he loved them.  There is so much more I can say about our friend and brother Dan but I would need more time to write it out.  I hold all your heavy hearts and feel your loss and sadness.  He will be missed deeply but his memory will be in all of us.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the family of Daniel.   Truly I will remember him with only fondest memories .  My thoughts and prayers are with each and every member of Daniel's family at this time.
