Candace re-ascended peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at the age of 61. Loving mother of Charly (Mike Thompson) and James (Kaitlyn Chamney). Dear grandmother of Gwyneth. Lovingly remembered by her best friend Dennis Gray. Sister of Darlene, Ron, Viera, John, Joan and the late Roxy and Roy Jr., Candy will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Celebration of Candace’s Life will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 30th from 5 – 7 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care would be appreciated.
