Audrey Sheila Foster

The family of Audrey Sheila Foster sadly announces her passing, peacefully, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, Ontario on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the age of 92. Much loved wife of the late Gordon Chalmers Foster for 70 years. Loving mother of Lynn Alcock and her husband Alan, Sheila Iacono and her husband Gaetan, Gordon Foster Jr. and his wife Cathy, Michael Foster and his wife Pamela Hilborne and the late Frank Foster and his widow Naomi London. Cherished Gramma of Sherry (Neill), Dawn (Harry), Melanie (John), Lisa (William), Daniel (Marika), Stephanie (Tyler), Sera and nine great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Thomas Conrick (Lillian) in Calgary. Predeceased by brother Frank Conrick and sisters Vera Miller, Norma McComb, June Linn and Lorraine Steimle, Audrey will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Libby and all the nurses, personal support workers, physiotherapists, dietary, recreation, hairdresser, volunteers and all other staff at Fairview Lodge for their excellent care and compassion over the many years that Audrey resided there.

A memorial service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday May 30th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception and Celebration of her life. Please feel free to come and share your memories of Audrey.
