Passed away with his loving family by his side at Rouge Valley Health System on September 19th, 2016 at the age of 72. Loving husband and best friend of Gwen for 43 years. Tony will be missed by his four legged friends Sam, Bella and Eddy as well as by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other family members and friends. Tony will be forever remembered for his “big heart.” Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 23rd, from 2 – 4 & 6:00 p.m. until time of a Celebration of his Life in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. The Alfano family wishes to extend their appreciation to the caring and compassionate ICU staff of Rouge Valley Health System for taking such tender care of Tony and his family. Words cannot express. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for the Toronto Humane Society.
