Valerie Mary Blair

Valerie Mary Blair (previously Ford, nee Hollmann) aged 77, died quietly and in comfort 6/11/2020 at 1am. Born 9/9/1942 in Bombay India, beloved daughter of Winifred and Rudolph Hollmann. Mother to Anthony and Ian Ford, grandmother to Charlotte, Andersson and Mason Ford.

Valerie lead an amazing and interesting life, married three times (preceded in death by Iain Wallace, Derek Ford and Watson Blair). Her professional life was varied, ballerina, furniture restoration, make-up artist, actor, realty developer and home maker. She lived in England, France, Holland and the USA.

She loved family and socializing. Her dinner parties were always a wonderful experience. Lover of good food, wine and interesting company.

Her final years were marked by a long and hard fight against Alzheimer’s, a terrible disease that denied her a full life for so many of her final years.

Gathering will be held on June 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on June 26, 2020 at 3:00 pm.
