Linda C. Henson

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Keller, and her sister, Sue Stoehr.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John "Lou" Henson; son, Douglas Henson; daughter-in law, Susan Scharrenberg; grandsons, Devin Henson, Jacob Scharrenberg, Matthew Scharrenberg; granddaughter, Tiffani Henson; great grandson, Luke Taylor; niece, Rebecca Stoehr and a host of family and friends.

Linda loved spending time with family and friends. While traveling the world with her husband John; some of the adventures included time in the Holy Land, seeing the sites of Canada, visiting the many beaches across the continents, and cruising different regions of the world. Linda never met a stranger. Linda was very proud of her over 41 years of elementary teaching. Her hobbies include crocheting, painting and genealogy. And lastly she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Hermitage, Tennessee Chapter. She had a heart full of kindness, compassion and love for all. She will truly be missed.

Gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, July 24, 11 am until 2 pm, with a graveside service to follow at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home and Park, 548 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Nashville, Tennessee, for her Nashville friends and family.
