Doris Wells Scott

Doris Wells Viorde (Scott), of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Riviera Senior Living Community, at the age of 86. Doris was born September 30, 1929 in Savannah, Georgia. Doris is predeceased by her parents, Jessie William Wells and Cora Lee Taylor. She is survived by her two sons, Victor Viorde, Ormond Beach, FL, and Vincent Viorde, Ormond Beach, FL, two daughter-in-laws, Denise Viorde, and Dottie Viorde, and brother Edward Wells, Columbia, South Carolina. She is further survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Doris had many creative talents that brought her recognition and numerous awards throughout the years. She was a member of the exclusive and elite Garden Club of Charleston (South Carolina). Doris was a skilled business women who moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1972, where she developed a prosperous career in real estate. She most notably sold the Oceans Condos in the Daytona Beach Shores, earning her distinction as Real Estate Agent of the Year and entering her into the Million Dollar Club. In retirement, she enjoyed hosting at her home, gardening, and dancing. She will be remembered for her remarkable style, southern hospitality, and achievements in real estate.
