A life-long resident of Orleans, he was born at Cape Cod Hospital on July 9, 1994. He attended the Orleans Elementary School and Nauset Regional Middle School. At the time of his death he was a student at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School's shop of Information Technology.
Thomas was a sensitive, kind and loyal friend; swift to forgive and slow to judge. He was an avid fisherman participating in numerous contests with his "buddies" winning some and losing some; always keeping a good natured attitude. He was passionate about music, video games, his many pets, and having deep philosophical discussions on the validity of current social norms. He worked at the Hot Chocolate Sparrow.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving brothers Benjamin Pike of Orleans and Jason Pike of Harwich, his grandparents, Marjory Gill of Orleans, David and Vivian Pike of Bridgton, Maine, his great grandmother Elizabeth Miller of Orleans, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours are open to all and will be held Friday February 10 at the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Parkway, Orleans, MA 02653 from 4-7pm. The graveside service will be held Saturday February 18, 2012 at 11am.
