Steven Michael Cox

Michael was born in Charleston, SC on February 11, 1974 to J.D. and Kathryn Cox. He attended schools in Charleston, graduating from Middleton High School, Class of 1993, where he was in Middleton Singers and in Middleton Marching Band all four years. He graduated from Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee, FL in 1993 with a degree in Travel.

He worked for Cruises Only in Charleston where he met and married the love of his life, Perla, through Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami, FL. They were married in 1999 on Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Line in Miami, FL.

He worked for The Travel Agency, Miami, FL and currently worked for Superior Cruise & Travel of Orlando, FL the past 5 yrs.

He is survived, in addition to his parents, by a brother Jeff of Orlando, FL, his wife Perla, his son Scott Michael and daughter Alexia Marina and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and Feline, “Ziggy”.

Funeral Service will be at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL on Thursday, August 31 at 6:30, with Visitation from 5-6:30.

The cryptside burial will be in Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1pm.
