I thought a lot of Rick. A good man and friend. Only man I ever knew who took pride in using half a shovel. I will miss him!!

Doris and Family, I understand your loss and want to express our families love for Rick. Larry said many times how much He loved Him and how wonderful He was as His Boss. My kids grew up on funny Rick stories, it seems He had a lot of pranks pulled on Him. I particularly remember the snake incedent and the Hat.It was a LONG time ago but it was retold many times. You know how great He was and He will be missed. May the Lord be your guide and your Rock through this time.. I understand how you feel and I know the Peace He has given me.

I felt such sadness and loss when I heard of Rick's passing.  I was 8 or 9 when I first remember Rick and Doris.  My Mom Elaine used to babysit Jeffrey and I saw them when they picked Jeff up. .  He  seemed like a very laid back and wise person.  He was there for his brother-in-law (my step-father) through his long-time illness and there when my Mom passed away.  I feel like I am a better person for having known him

My Uncle Rick was a brilliant light among us. His personality flooded our lives with playful humor. Back when Bigfoot was in the news and our family's were at our weekend cabin in the forest, I vividly remember him running through the woods with one of my moms dark wigs on. One night Us kids were walking down the road. It was pitch black. Uncle Rick came running out of the woods beside us...looking like a spitting image of the illusive creature itself!! I love my Uncle "Ricky" with all my Soul and will hold him closely in my heart for EVER!

My thoughts and LOVE GO OUT TO ALL OF YOU!  Paw was such a GREAT MAN AND LOVED EVERYONE!!!  I'm so glad that I was able to be in his life for such a long time and all the trips we took tubing, baseball, ect...... Where some of the greatest times we ever had!  I know he was so happy when his boys married the women they did and always considered them his daughters too!!! I'm just lucky one of them was my Sister!!!!   He deeply Loved you Doris and you two showed there really is TRUE LOVE IN MARRIAGE!!!  I LOVE YOU ALL AND WELL NEVER FORGET ALL THE GREAT TIMES WE SHARED!!!

Rick, or as he let us call him, Wormy, was a great man, husband, and father.   The great man and father, reached out beyond his immediate family.   His impact on my life, and my confidence as a kid, is immeasurable.  Just a great guy, who got his point across, with wisdom, and great humor.   I am praying for  Doris, and Al and Jeff, as I know how trying these times can be.   I know one thing,  when Rick enters Heaven, my Father will be one of the happiest to greet him there.   Rick was awesome during my dads boating accident, and was there first to offer anything of need our family needed.  This act, and his ways, are just many of the infinite things you can say positively about this great guy.   Rest Comfortably, Rick.   RIP Wormy.

Had some very memorable times with Rick at Florida Power in the 80's..still have a work picture of him on the wall of my office..god bless.
