On September 19, 2020, Ian Robert Graham passed away at his home in Northlake Park, Orlando, Florida, following a long illness. He was born in Santa Monica, California, July 10, 1966, and leaves behind his parents, Nina and Bill Graham, and his beloved partner of many years, Terri McNalley. They were blessed with a daughter, Nina Jane, who is eleven. He and his former wife Dana Marxer had three wonderful sons, Christopher Hugo (23), Harrison Marxer (20), and William Robert (18). He is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Graham Olson, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many broken-hearted friends from his growing up years in California, and his time in Virginia and Florida.
Trained as a chef, Ian changed his career mid-stream and worked for the airlines, most recently JetBlue in Orlando. He loved his job, the people he worked with, and the challenges the job entailed. His life with Terri, Nina Jane, Christopher and their little rescue dog Nala in the Northlake Park community was deeply satisfying to Ian, who treasured home, family and friends. He had a friendly, helping nature, and was an amazing cook. He appreciated being able to collaborate with his neighbors and friends on projects, during good times and stormy times. His wit will be deeply missed, but he will be missed in uncounted other ways.
On Sunday, September 27, the family will receive friends at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home on South Semoran Blvd. in Orlando from 5 pm until 7 pm. There will be a brief Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7 pm.
