Gloria Delgado, who loved to be called “Mama” by her grandchildren kids and great-grandchildren, was born in Yabucoa, PR where she married the love of her life, Epifanio Delgado, on July 26, 1944. Together they raised two beautiful children and had a long fulfilled career until they moved to Florida where she carried out the remainder of her life until passing.
She is survived by her son, Nelson Delgado, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
As a retired elementary school teacher and occupational therapist, Gloria was known for her patience and helping heart. She wholeheartedly served her family, friends, and community. Gloria loved cooking for others, sewing, gardening, coloring books, and crossword puzzles. She was a woman of prayer, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know “Mama” was to love “Mama.”
Funeral Services for “Mama” will be conducted on Friday at 3 pm at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, Fl.
