One of my fondest memories of Chris.   When she saw I was growing summer squash in my Square Foot Garden she wanted to introduce me to eating the flower in addition to the vegetable.  She asked me to pick the male flower in full bloom in the morning.  She would then stuff the open flower with cheese and let the flower close around the cheese.  Next she dipped in batter and fried it.  She shared it with me later in the day.  What a Treat!  Delicious!!  Chris was my neighbor for over 40 years.  Rest In Peace Chris.  


I truly cherish my friendship with such a beautiful person, she will be greatly missed.

I will always have fond memories of Chris (my mother in law).   One being Sunday gravy.  So good!   I will miss the look she would give just before punching you in the arm.   Just a kind soul.

I remember as a child living in the same house with my aunt in Staten Island,  New York. We lived upstairs and they lived downstairs. I remember going downstairs to be with her during the day  because I loved her company and I would help with my cousins who were babies at the time. My mother,  her sister, and her would visit frequently throughout the day going upstairs and downstairs. There are many memories I hold dear of my aunt. I know she’s in heaven with all her siblings and her parents and so many more of our dear family reuniting and catching everybody up on what’s been going on. Rest in peace …Until we’re all together once again. 💗

I grew up with Mike and Chris was always so happy to have all of Mike’s friends at his house. She was always wanting to feed us! I really got to know her well when she joined the bowling league at Colonial Lanes. We would have the best time telling stories and laughing - not caring so much about our bowling abilities! I truly loved the bantering between Santo and Chris - so much love for each other! She was truly an amazing lady that will be forever missed. 

Grandma, 

I am so blessed and feel so honored to be apart of this beautiful family. Grandma was and will forever hold a very special place in my heart. She was so playful, feisty and always making everyone laugh. If you knew grandma, you knew that you better sit across from the dinner table and not directly next to her. If you were the one to sit next to her , you were prepared to get smacked when anyone picked on her. This was all fun games and love. Every single smack was out of pure love. She would giggle every time she smacked someone. I remember one of the first few dinners I came to Kyle would intentionally mix up all the sugar packets, just to pick on grandma because it had to be all color coordinated or she had to fix it. I remember everyone giggling and grandma calling Kyle “a rotten kid”. Again, this was a saying grandma would often say, it was never intentionally  meaning he was rotten it was just her giving back some sass from him rearranging the sugar packets. Grandma had such a big heart and always put smiles on everyone’s face. Grandma was the mold of the family and she will be greatly missed. We love you Grandma and we can’t wait to see you again!

My mother made our home the place all the kids wanted to be. When we were very young, she was active in the PTA, our den mother in Cub Scouts, and had fun projects for us. I remember some really cool cakes she would make for our birthdays. One such was a sailboat. As we got older, she shuttled us around and helped out at our schools. Whenever someone came into our home, the first question was, "Are you hungry, thirsty?". She was funny and fun to be around. I will miss her so so much. 

Mom was always smiling.  She had a disarming way with everyone, 

Time in or near her pool was special to Mom. 

Mom's happy place was anything near the water. If not the pool, the beach. This is at Limetree Resort, Lido Beach, Sarasota. Lots of happy memories were made here. 

Holiday dinners were always a special time for our family. This was no exception. Mom always snuck food to any pets in the area.

I moved a few houses down from you all, 42 years ago. Patti and I became fast friends and I've always appreciated how welcome I felt in your home. 
Chris had the best disposition of anyone I know, always smiling and laughing. She was also a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
 I remember the secret care packages she would give Patti when we shared our first apartment away from home.
Always so thoughtful.
