Carmen M Torres

She was married to Felix Lopez on October 9, 1965 and became a widow on September 21, 2010.

Carmen worked as a seamstress at different clothing manufacturers in New York and Puerto Rico and later on she continued being a seamstress working from home.

Her passion was always to be sewing, and she enjoyed cooking for the family, eating Puerto Rican food and trying different types of other food . She loved chocolates, her special treats were the Ferrero Rocher and the Lindt Chocolate Lindor Truffles.

Carmen was devoted Catholic and had a very strong faith who sustained her to the very last breath. She always welcomed all who wanted to shared with her the love of Christ. She was a loving and caring mother, mother-in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and a faithful friend always lending a helping hand to those around her.

Carmen was preceded by her eldest son Fred Torres

and survived by her son Edwin Lopez, daughter-in law Nellie Lopez, her daughter Elsie Martinez and son-in law Angel Martinez. Granddaughter Jacqueline Lopez; Grandsons, Armando Torres, Edwin O. Lopez, Jeffrey Lopez, Brian Lopez, Michael Lopez, Mark Lopez, Carlos Martinez and Luis Martinez.

Great grandchildren, Justin Santiago, Alanís Garcia, Micheal A. Lopez, Adrian Lopez, Jaden Lopez, Amelia Martinez, Valentino Lopez and soon be born baby Felix James Lopez

A Visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill on Wednesday, September 18.2024 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be Thursday September 19, 2024 at 10am at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill. A Graveside following the service at 11am at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

A visitation will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817. A graveside service will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
