A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida; graduated from the former St. Joseph's Academy in Jacksonville,
Florida, class of '43; retired in 1987 from Prudential South-Central home office after 30 years service. Former longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jacksonville and served as a Eucharistic minister there; current long-time member of Prince of Peace Church and participated in numerous church and spiritual group activities, served on greeting ministry, as well as visitation ministry for four nearby nursing homes. Active member of several prayer groups and former member of the St. Johns Retreat Association.
Victoria is preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Leonard Batten and Emmett Virgil "Chip" Batten, Jr.
She is survived by son, David Batten and daughter-in-law Arlene Batten. Grandchildren, Eddy (Shannon) Batten and Kelly Bennett. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Hollie, Taylor and Bishop Bennett; Amber, Nicholas, Henry and Elizabeth Batten. Four Great-Great-Grandchildren: Nehemiah, Atlas, Lucas, and Brooklyn.
A visitation for Victoria will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Rivermead Chapel, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073.
A graveside services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding BLvd, Orange Park, FL 32073.
