Patricia Anne Wright

Patty was a kind soul who could make a friend with anyone. She was a devoted daughter who loved to talk and pass the time with her Mom, and in her early years, she was the older sister looking out for and taking care of her younger siblings. Patty enjoyed crochet, reading, and spending time at the beach. She had a special love for her cats. Patty always maintained a positive attitude, no matter the situation.

Her legacy lives on through her son, Frank Urso, and his beautiful family, of whom she was immensely proud.

She is survived by her son Frank Urso (Nikki Urso); her grandchildren, Hailey, Sophie, and Gracie Urso; her parents, Darold and Eileen Cole; her siblings, Kay Thomas (Chuck Thomas), Bob Cole (Candace Cole), and Darold Cole (Kathy Cole); her nephews, Chase Thomas, Bobby Cole, Connor Cole, Andrew Cole and DJ Cole Jr.; and her nieces, Blake Thomas (TJ Gonzalez), Brandi Thomas, Katelyn Thomas, and Zoey Cole.

She is preceded in Death by her sister Cherie McDonough.

Even at the end, Patty left her mark on this world by helping others through organ donation. Her generous spirit lives on through this final act of kindness.

A funeral service will be held at Mary, Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 9401 Staples Mill Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32244, on December 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any organization that cares for stray animals, in honor of Patty's passion for pets.
