Ruth Marie Emerson

Ruth graduated from Savannah High School. She was married to William John Emerson Sr. on November 22, 1952.

Ruth had a career as a school bus driver. Ruth had a passion for her family most of all, bowling and her iPad.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Chester and Lola Marie Finley; her father-in-law, Nicholas R. Emerson and mother-in-law, Lucia (Despaw) Emerson; child, Billy Emerson Jr.; grandchild, Arnulfo (Cheech) Gallegos Jr.; and great-grandchild, Hunter Kalb.

Ruth is survived by her children, Linda Sampson, Deborah Tompkins, Becki Nettles, Terri Brian and Evelyn Gallegos; grandchildren, Jennifer Dittman, Karen Hollister, Melvin Osier Jr., William Baker, Michelle Gallegos, Tim Kalb Jr., Nicole McNeil, and Crystal McNeil; great grandchildren, Tim Rader, Erin Baker, Keith Daniels Jr., Tyler Daniels, Kerri Baker, Amber Dittman, Anthony Osier, Britney Osier, Cameron Osier, Anna Osier, Brooklyn Kalb, Hudson Kalb, Lillianna Kaisu, Liam Reynolds and Kyanna Howard; step-grandchildren, Michael Stewart and Felicity Stewart; and brother, Lawrence John McCarthy.
