Jose M. Rivera, age 74, of Deltona, Florida passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. Jose was born April 2, 1947, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Jose M. Rivera and Maria D. Torres. He is survived by his wife Juanita Perez; Children: Maritza Rivera (Sian Hunter), Elliot Rivera (Ada Roque), Lucy Rivera; Siblings: Mildred Luciana, Gloria Diaz, Marcy Rivera, Sarai Rivera, Jose L.(Marina) Rivera, Olga Rivera, Yomary (Santos) Figueroa; Grandchildren: Yesenia (Orlando) Ortiz, Gina Rivera, Michael Bhola, Elerick Hernandez, Mariel Rivera, Ricky Rosado, Ellijah Rivera, Adrianna Rivera, Rachelle Rosado, Alejandro Hernandez, Great-grandchildren: Yandie Ortiz, Yeilanys Ortiz, Enzo Ortiz, Katalina Rivera

Arrangements have been entrusted to Deltona Memorial Funeral Home in Orange City, Florida. Please join us as we celebrate his life which will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A celebration of life will occur Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A committal service will occur Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by a small reception. In lieu of flowers, Jose had requested donations to be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children Hospital.
