Jack Powell Jr.

Jack Powell Jr. was born in December 15, 1941. He departed this life on February 1, 2022. A loving husband, father, grandfather and devoted friend. A man of strength who believed in the value of family. After his life in the Air Force, he lived in Rochester NY for 30 years before retiring to Deltona FL. We always remember your smile, your caring heart, your supporting advice, your warm embrace and you being their for mom and for us throughout our good times and bad. No matter what you had our back. No one can ever replace you in our hearts and the love we will always have for you.

He leaves to mourn his wife Elvira, his daughters Melissa of Rochester NY and Michele(David) of Overland Park, KS, his brother Michael Powell of AL, sister Ethel Marie Powell of AL, his grandchildren, Carl Loury Jr, Tatianna Gillenwater, Todd Gillenwater II, Christopher Gillenwater, Chloe Cromwell, and a host of family and special friends including Clyde Logan of New York, Nidia Sinclair and family, with a special mention of cousins Geraldine Watson of AL, Sheila Haire of FL and friends, Willean Banks of NY, Diana Cardoza (Wayne Parker) of FL, Patsy Douglas (Jim Hooper) of FL and Jemmie (Ida) Broadhead of FL and Julian (Hermenia) Greenald.

Jack will be cremated with memorial services to be determined at a future date.
