To Hector's Family, I am a very old friend, I'm from Johnstown PA and I met Hector when he played baseball in the AAABA tournament in 1976 & 77. My 2 cousins and I were huge Brooklyn fans and followed his team for years. We were pen pals and exchanged letters for a long time. I remember when the July 1977 flood occurred in Johnstown, Hector's Mom prayed for all of us. Hector was a gentlemen above all else. He was an amazing athlete and his team members loved him. I found out about Hector's passing by accident and my regret is that I did not reach out sooner. I would have loved the opportunity to tell him about my life, husband and children. Hector was one of those people in your life, although it was brief, he was never forgotten and never will be. I will include him and his beautiful family in my prayers forever.

It's been a few months since you've been gone and there hasent been one day That passes that I don't think about you. I wanted to tell you that on my wedding day I knew you were they're with me walking me down the isle. And helped my father Ray hand me to my future husband. I miss you very much. I love you. I was so sorry to hear about Hectors passing. I worked with Hector for many years and always enjoyed the laughs we shared over the years. Sending my condolences to all family and friends.

To the many family members we had met over the last 2 years at the Sea Captain Resort  in Clearwater Fl while seeing all come together for the family reunion. We had the pleasure of meeting Hector last year and spent time talking with him again this year.It had really sadden our hearts when we heard of his passing. Though we haven't known the family long it didn't take long to recognize good people who value family time together. Hector will always be remembered by the smile he always had and the love of spending time with his family.Though his life ended suddenly consider it a Blessing that he was surrounded by some of his family members.You all will be in our thoughts and continued prayers. May you all find comfort in the many great memories you hold of Hector. Let the Lord guide you through your darkest moments. One day you will all be together again.

My condolences to Hectors parents and family. No one should every have to bury a child. He was a great man, loving and happy. He is missed and never forgotten.

Such a shock. I was just speaking with Hector about hip replacement which I am scheduled for on August 17th. He gave me great advice. My condolences to the fam.

You have taught us what family truly is. Life is short, love is forever. 

Hector was a great person to have in Your life. Always with that smile and with a flair for life,  very loving and forgiving you don't get to know people like that often. My family and I are blessed to have had him in our life's, you are missed my friend. The Jensen family. .

Hector you were one special guy. Although you were once married to my sister Mary & I once called you brother in law, you still remained my brother. You were an amazing uncle to my boys Niko & Isaac. Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for your loss.  Hector was one of The Good Guys.  His friendship was one based on respect and trust and I will cherish this for a lifetime.
