He was born in Williamson, West Virginia on February 23, 1948. He grew up in McCarr, Kentucky.
Donnie Little attended Boone High School and then went into the Navy at an early age. There he served on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War.
He was married to Sybil Little for 49 years.
Donnie Little worked for Krispy Kreme, Merita Breads Interstate Brands, and retired from Publix Supermarkets.
He was a member of Lake Mack Fire Department and head of crime watch. He had a passion for fishing and camping.
He was survived by his four daughters, Janie Monares, Tonya Phillips, Tammy Rock, Julie Little. Grandchildren, Justyn, Collin, Annie, Brady, Dj, Jeremiah, Joshua, Calista, Callie, Jimmy. His sisters Betty Jo, Polly, Sandy.
