Derek Michael Myers

Derek Michael Myers, 32, went to be with his Lord on July 29, 2016 in Delray Beach, Florida. Derek was a graduate of Dallastown High School, attended Penn State and Seminole State in Florida and earned his HVAC certification from Harrisburg Area Community College. He was an HVAC Technician in Boynton Beach, FL.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Franklin Thomas Myers, parents, Linda & Harold Jacob and Eric & Garnet Myers, siblings, Stephanie Mullin and husband Joseph, Brandi Jacob Waechter & husband Matthew, Justin Jacob & wife Vangie and four nieces, Dawn, Jennifer, Savannah & Eliana, grandparents John & Yvonne Myers and Lila Huska, and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

So much could be written about Derek and his heart of gold, quick smile & contagious laugh but nothing compares to the love he had for his little boy. Franky was his first thought in the morning and last thought at night and in every breath in between. He will be watching over him and guiding him now from heaven.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at the convenience of the family in the near future. Our family asks that you simply love each other in Derek's memory and don't wait until tomorrow to express that love - tomorrow may never come.
