Joseph "Randy" Barksdale

Randy passed away peacefully at age 66 after an excruciating battle with stage 4 cancer and is now free from the pain and suffering he endured for many months. Randy was born in Alabama in 1957 but raised in Ontario. He graduated from Chaffey High School in 1975 and quickly entered the workforce. Soon after, Randy married his first wife, Rhonda, and she gave birth to their son Graham in 1979.

It wasn’t long before Randy became a painting contractor and established a successful business in Southern California for several years. Eventually, Randy and his second wife, Venetia, moved to Ormand Beach, Florida, where they lived and built another flourishing painting business for many more years. They enjoyed a life together of warm weather, great fishing, beautiful beaches, frequent cruises, and other fun and memorable times. In 2010, he lost his wife of 21 years to cancer and moved back to Southern California a few years later. In 2021, Randy retired but could not enjoy it very long before becoming ill.

He was predeceased in death by his wife Venetia, mother Joyce, and brothers Ronnie and Robin. Randy is survived by his son Graham, his granddaughter Gracie, his loving partner of many years Terri Trombetta, his father Joe Barksdale, his brother Jeff, and several close friends who were like family to him.

He will be missed terribly by the many people that loved him.
