Jack Stewart was an astoundingly creative man. A Landscape Architect in the Fifth Supervisorial District whose parks, senior centers, ball parks and equestrian centers you may have visited in Los Angeles County. As a college student at Cal Poly Pomona, one of the floats he designed, "Puff The Magic Dragon", Won First place in 1965 at the Rose Parade. One of the Judges, Norman Rockwell, upon experiencing "Puff" winked at him said "I'm In Love." Jack was a man who picked up a pen and scribbled on restaurant napkins, explored his world and his place in it through poetry.
