Elizabeth (Betty) DiGiovanni passed away on December 17th, 2024 at the age of 99. Betty was only 5 days short of reaching her 100th birthday. She was born on December 22nd, 1924 in Homestead PA to Agnes (Nan) & Robert Anderson. Betty was a resident of Montclair for most of her years in California. She graduated in 1943 from Follansbee High School in West Virginia. She married the love of her life, Sam DiGiovanni on January 18th, 1947. They were married for 57 years before Sam passed in November of 2004.
Betty was preceded in death be her husband Sam DiGiovanni, daughter Nancy DiGiovanni, granddaughter Jennifer Sullivan and her parents Nan & Robert Anderson.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Sullivan, son-in-law Joe Sullivan, granddaughter Sarah Sullivan, her husband Jacob Broad, and great-grandchildren Ruby & Valentine Broad, grandchildren Jerry Burger Jr., Colleen Saenz, her husband Paul, great-grandson Carson Burger and Foreign Exchange daughter Ulrike Bischoff and her family in Germany. She was blessed with many wonderful nieces and nephews as well.
