He was born November 27, 1932 in Oneonta the son of the late Lowell and Catherine (Stockin) Page.
He married Clarabelle Cahill on October 24, 1954 at River Street Baptist Church, Oneonta. She predeceased him on May 25, 2017.
Richard was a lifelong Oneonta resident as were his parents and grandparents and was the proud owner of LP Butts in Oneonta for 30 years until his retirement in 2011.
Richard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid Yankee fan a true competitor in sports. He managed and coached his sons and their local friends Little League and Moose League All Stars teams once winning the New York State Championship. He was especially devoted to his two dogs, Princess and Cleo.
He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry his joy away from work was spending time with his family at his 25 acre camp.
Richard was a longstanding member of the Oneonta Elks and Eagles Club and the Oneonta Country Club where he was a onetime club champion.
Richard is survived by four children, Richard Page and wife, Ashley, Patty Breuer and husband, Terry, Paula Lewin and Steve Page and wife, Laurie; eight grandchildren, Greg and Amy Breuer, Amanda Page Hill, Ricky Page, Johnny Dutchick and Andrew, David and Matthew Lewin; two great grandchildren, Riley and Miller; one brother, Jim Page; and one sister, Jeanette Page. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Page Dutchick; brothers, Lowell and Dave; and sister, Rose.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta.
