She was born June 30, 1926 at A.O. Fox Hospital the daughter of the late Albert and Medeleine (Kuster) Erdmann.
Norma worked in dress factories in Oneonta for more than 40 years. She retired in 1999 from Sanyo.
She was a musician playing saxophone and clarinet in several bands in and around Oneonta for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed reading, doing jig-saw puzzles and plastic canvas’. Norma will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and her ready smile.
She was predeceased by her husband, John McBride. Surviving is her daughter, Mary McBride-Froh and her husband, Christopher Froh; two grandchildren, Tyler and Katelyn Froh; one brother, John Goodrich all of Oneonta.
At Norma’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Memorial donations in Norma’s memory may be made to the SPCA, 4841 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, New York 13326.
