Matthew V Sisson

Matt grew up in Binghamton and graduated from Binghamton High School in 1996.

He was a passionate musician and drummer who played numerous instruments and performed with several local bands.

He enjoyed tinkering and repairing small engines. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, BMX, and 4-wheeler racing.

Matt was outgoing, charismatic, friendly (making friends wherever he went). He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter Peyton. Matt will forever be remembered for his adorable, crooked smile, but that smile lives on in Peyton.

Matt is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Sisson; daughter, Peyton Sisson; mother, Dorothy Sisson; three sisters, Maria Sisson, Danielle Sisson (Shannon Potts) and April Roderick; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pete and Connie Popek; brother-in-law, Michael (Emily) Popek; sister-in-law, Lindsey (Ryan) Meys; nephew, Michael Sisson, nieces Katie Stankiewicz and Erika Gaige as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Sisson.

Mattchew, MatterMan, Little Tree, you are truly loved and will be missed by us all.

Rest in peace now, and give Dad a big hug for us. Until we meet again.
