Mary Louise Bruggemann

She was born December 9, 1933 in New York City, NY the daughter of the late Al and Mary Gallodoro.

Mary married Willi Bruggemann in 1953 in Freeport, Long Island. Willi predeceased her in 1968.

She loved to read detective magazines, play Bingo, watching figure skating, dine out and listen to her father play music.

Mary is survived by her four children, Victoria Aitken of Delhi, Mary and Alex Pacifico of Long Island, Willi and Cheryl Bruggemann of Hudson and Michael Bruggemann and Willard Smith of Oneonta; four grandchildren, Holly Simmons, Tina Seves, Kelly Sanford and Alex Pacifico; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Gallodoro of Florida and Joann Gallodoro of Long Island; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Rita Maresca and a brother, Alfred Gallodoro.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Following the funeral service there will be a Celebration of Mary’s Life held at Christopher’s Restaurant, Oneonta. Burial will be held at a later date in the Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta. Memorial donations in memory of Mary Burggemann may be made to the Charcot Marie Tooth Association, PO Box 105, Glenolden, PA 19036.
