Joyce Marilyn Bullis

Born February 4, 1933 to the late Reginald Highley and Winifred Elenor (Davies) Reeves. A 90-year resident of Otego, Joyce most recently resided at A. O. Fox Nursing Home.

Joyce received her masters degree in elementary education from State University College at Oneonta. She then taught kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th grades at Sidney Center Elementary School for 30 years until her retirement in 1998.

After retirement Joyce filled her time gardening, baking, and in field service with the Jehovah's Witnesses, West Oneonta congregation.

Joyce was predeceased by husband John L Bullis; sisters Margaret Gladstone, Betty Crandall, Dorothy Reeves, brother John Reeves, and nephew Leon Beach. She is survived by sons Jim Bullis (Marcia), Joe Bullis; grandchildren Josh (Crystal) Bullis, Tim Bullis; great-grandchild Alex Bullis; nieces Elenor Conklin (Tom), Marie Gladstone, Nancy Gladstone, Cindy Crandall (Steve Blinn), Joan Crandall, and Sue Burke (Marty); nephews David Reeves, Gordon Reeves (Darlene), and Richard Reeves (Andrea).
