Gloria L Loucks

Gloria was born July 3, 1936 in Oneonta, the daughter of George Lester and Mildred Yager. On July 2, 1983, she married Ward B. "Huck" Loucks at Howes Cave, NY.

Gloria attended Oneonta schools and spent most of her life in Oneonta, except for the fifteen years she lived in the Syracuse area. She was a housewife and mother and worked in a few factories in the Oneonta and Syracuse areas.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Tracy Thomas, sons Randall Hall, and Robert Lester. Grandsons, Jason Thomas (Karen Haines), Austin Lester, and Robert Lester Jr. Granddaughters, Brittny Mott (Rob Mott), Taylor Hall, Andrea Lester, and Julie Hall. Great granddaughters, Krysta and Lorynna Thomas. Sister Carol Johnson, and brother Ken Lester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and her cuddly cat, Bugger.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Mildred, brothers Herbie, Gerald and Richard Lester, her husband Huck, and granddaughter Kristen Lorraine Thomas.

Upon Gloria's wishes there will be no services held, there will be a private burial at a later date. She will be cremated, and placed with her husband, Huck.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Super Heroes in Ripped Jeans or Susquehanna SPCA in Gloria's honor.
