He was born December 30, 1952, in Holden, Massachusetts the son of Ralph H. and Hella Beta (Hinrichs) Robbins.
Eric married Linda Elmandorf August 2006 at Glimmerglass State Park, they were married for 17 years but together for 22 loving years.
He had a strong love for culinary arts and the smiles that food brought to his family, friends, and community alike. Eric was a chef at the former Sabatini restaurant before sharing his other passion for making chocolates. Together with his wife, Linda they owned and operated Liberty Chocolates until 2020.
A true fan of the Rolling Stones, he attended 30 to 50 of their concerts. On his time off Eric painted water and oil-based paintings for his friends and family.
He was a good, kind, and humble man that loved his family, and the accomplishments they made throughout the years. He will be missed and remembered as a father, artist, chef, and rock and roll enthusiast. Most importantly as a loving and supportive husband.
Eric is survived by his wife, Linda Robbins; son, Mike Robbins, and Kristine; stepchildren, Brenden (Marina) Jackman, Eric Jackman, and Justin Jackman; three grandchildren, Mike Robbins, Kayla Robbins and Apostolos Tsampasis and Ethan Robbins; great granddaughter, Aria; four step grandchildren, Santino and Reagan Jackman and Addison Rothenberger and Kylie Jackman; three brothers, Trescott, Donald (Ernie) and Carl Robbins and countless friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Hella Robbins and brother George.
At Eric’s request there will not be any services at this time. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
