Susan C. Hankins

Susan C Hankins 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday April 12, 2022 in Omaha Nebraska. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Friday April 15th with a Rosary at 6PM.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday April 16th at 11am at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park Funeral Home in Omaha Nebraska.

Susan loved card making, painting ceramics, and crafting. She had an everlasting love for dogs, cats, and owls. She worked for the Office of the Secretary of State in Missouri for 29 years until her retirement. Susan also had a great sense of humor!

Some of her famous phrases were:

-Mildewing to keep from Molding.

-I wonder what the poor people are doing?

-Just bummin around.

-What are you up to, 5ft and a drip?

-Galavanting around!

She is survived by her sister Teresa Wiese of Omaha, Brothers David Ramirez of Los Angeles CA, Michael Ramirez and Robert Ramirez of Omaha. Daughters Antoinette Baxter (Pat) of Omaha, Kelly Irvin of Fremont, and Son in Law Paul Scheppers of Jefferson City MO. 9 Grandchildren- Rebecca, Ashley, Tiffany, Michael, Heather, Connie, Dallas, Brianna, and James. 15 Great-grandchildren and counting, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Consuelo Ramirez, daughter Debbie Scheppers, daughter and son-in-law Amy & Jake Fischer.
