Stanley was born on May 1, 1929 in the family south Omaha home, the last of three brothers and five sisters.
At a young age Stanley was skilled in many trades and at age 19 started the Stanley G. Zych Construction Business, specializing in building houses, larger structures, and remodeling. He added a small fleet of trucks to the business, and later owned and managed an apartment complex in Bellevue and rental homes in Plattsmouth.
Besides his wife of 48 years, Alice Mae he leaves son, Stanley G. Zych II (Denise), associate Cliff Shepoka, children; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
Stanley will be remembered for his infectious smile, endless determinations, his love of traveling, and his potato salad and polish sausage.
