Born On April 2,1957, Roberta Jean Noah became the 5th sister of the Noah Family. Daughter of Robert And Peggy Noah, sister of Margaret McCall, Theresa Noah, Shirley Carlson, Susan Vasquez, and Nancy Scott. On February 5, 2022, Roberta joined her parents in Heaven along with her sisters Susan and Nancy. Missing her are her daughter Jessica Noah, son Matthew Noah, sisters Margaret, Theresa, and Shirley, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mom attended Omaha South High School, Class of 1975. She was involved in theater and choir. Aside from school activities Roberta was heavily involved in Job’s Daughters, as Honored Queen 1975, Recipient of the Degree of Royal Purple, Majority Member, and Past Bethel Guardian of Bethel #18, Omaha. Thereafter, she joined Eastern Star, where she was Worthy Matron (years 1988-2001).
Roberta worked for the VA Hospital for 37 years in medical records, ward administration, and transcription. There she made lots of friends as well as enjoying shopping at the canteen.
Always remembering from Roberta, “People and the time given to others is the most important.” Roberta enjoyed spending time with her friends and family—hosting parties as well as selling Avon and Home Interiors products, playing games, bowling, Red Hat Society gatherings, concerts and her most favorite, going to Bingo.
Roberta loved traveling. As a young girl, there were numerous camping trips around the Midwest and later fun vacations with her sisters especially to amusement parks to enjoy a fun roller coaster ride. Roberta’s international travels took her to Figi, New Zealand, Australia, Guam, and China in 1998 and 2004 where she adopted daughter Jessica and son Matthew Noah. She leaves behind her 2 greatest joys and achievements.
