Robert "Bob" Michael Huston

Robert M Huston, age 63 of Pony Creek, Iowa passed away January, 2023. Bob was born in Honolulu, Hawaii & grew up in Carter Lake, Iowa. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1978 where he was on the swim team holding several school records. He also was a former member of the Carter Lake Water Ski Club & won many trophies. From there his passion for adrenaline took him to motorcycle flat track & closed track road racing.

Bob was a free spirit who loved adventure & lived life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, working on cars, flea markets, camping, kayaking, sailing, & especially spending time with his nephews and niece (being the 'fun' uncle). Bob had a huge heart, often giving his time & skills to others to help in whatever they needed. He was proud to have donated to Locks of Love multiple times.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him.

Survived by siblings, Dave (Deb) Huston & Sherry (Roger) Stinn; nephews & niece: Eddie Wrye, Lauren (Patrick) Huston, Alex Huston; & great nephews & niece: Brian & Ashley Wrye & Harbor Huston; & dear friend, Theresa. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Judy Huston; & dear friend, Dee.

A memorial visitation for Bob will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a celebration of life at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Locks of Love.
