Richard is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Gwladys Moore; brother, Robert Moore; and grandson, Richard C. Moore.
Richard is survived by loving wife of 62 years Judy; children, Jolene Hasse, Michael (Mary) Moore, John Moore, and Richard D. (Fatima) Moore; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard was a Veteran and attained the rank of Radioman First Class in the United States Navy. After his Naval Service, he worked as a machinist, owned a metal fabrication business, was a millwork estimator for over two decades, and finished his career tinkering and inventing in his son's HVAC shop.
A visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home on Monday, October 23 from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24 at 10am. Following the funeral service military honors will take place at the graveside.
